The VA Technology Acquisition Center awarded a $4.063 million definitive contract to Solventum Health Information Systems, Inc., for the RevCycle Health Services Platform (RHSP) software, support, and maintenance on May 23, 2026, as a sole-source award under FAR 6.103-1.
The Government determined that only Solventum RHSP satisfies VA requirements due to its unique integration capabilities with the eCAMS (electronic Claims Administration and Management System) Health Care Engine platform, proprietary source code access necessary for maintenance, and specialized MAC and Tricare pricing functionality that competing products lack. Market research conducted from November 2025 through February 2026 confirmed no competing solutions possessed required capabilities without substantial redesign and redevelopment.
The solution automates healthcare claims pricing methodologies across Medicare, non-Medicare, Hospital Outpatient Department, Ambulatory Surgical Center, and other specialized claim types, supporting a minimum 85 percent auto-adjudication rate with straight-through processing capabilities. The contract includes comprehensive maintenance support services with software upgrades, updates, enhancements, and corrections delivered within five business days of release, plus 24-hour daily, seven-day weekly remote and telephonic technical support.
Performance period runs 12 months from delivery with two optional 12-month renewal periods available. Place of performance is Salt Lake City, UT. The contract carries firm fixed-price pricing with no set-aside designation.
