About this award

Clinical Diagnostic Laboratories, LLC, doing business as Clinical Diagnostic Lab, was awarded a $3.5 million firm-fixed-price definitive contract by the Department of State Bureau of Medical Services to provide on-site biological specimen collection and reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction testing for SARS-CoV-2. The one-year base period contract, with four one-year options, will support testing of approximately 180 personnel annually in the Washington, D.C. area through March 2022. This 100% small business set-aside award fulfills the Department's request for polymerase chain reaction COVID-19 testing support services under a best value tradeoff competition. Clinical Diagnostic Lab will deliver on-site and off-premises specimen collection and processing to detect the presence of the virus causing COVID-19, as initially outlined in the Department's August 2020 solicitation seeking these critical public health services.
