The study should examine a broad spectrum of alternative, or the combination of, approaches. Including but not limited to: continue to augment hecc resources, including early retirement of supercomputing nodes to maintain operations within current facility limits; modify current hecc computers floors to mitigate facility constraints; modify non-hecc computer floors at ARC to operate additional supercomputing capacity; operate a supercomputing facility using an existing facility at another NASA center, operated either by hecc or by an organization at that center.
