Products to be compared include active fire, cloud mask and vegetation index. Comparison and assessments are to be carried out with relevant discipline/algorithm scientists -develop nisgs test procedure for NPP NCT3. Support NCT3 testing at S/C site -address ipopp alpha test site installation and processing issues as they arise. Enter problems into the BUG tracking system and establish priority between ipopp version BUG fixes with development schedules -update DRL web portal on meeting results, logistical information and documentation availability -provide DRL web portal technical information on data systems and science processing algorithm development status -travel to development ipopp alpha and beta sites national and international, and provide evaluation of technology performance, interoperability and usability. Sites include but not limited to south africa, australia, japan, brazil, europe and various sites in the USA. -provide conference support in the form of logistics and project personnel to man booths, give presentations and prepare presentation material relevant to DRL S technology development activities. IT is expected that the polarmax conference is to be supported in spring 2010 requiring 3 people for 4 days in the continental US. A DRL brochure will have to be updated as well as three posters describing nisgs technology development. Same level of support is required for the NASA EOS/NPP direct readout meeting to take place in spring of 2010; this includes catering logistics, travel for select participants and on-site logistical management. 3 people for 5 days will be required. -maintain and support the mobile and fixed DRL S direct readout ground stations. Perform continual performance evaluations based on data quality and RF signal integrity. Coordinate and assist vendor if repairs and/or upgrades are necessary. -develop ipopp version 1.7 and make ready for public distribution following proper technical and administrative public distribution procedures. . Version 1.7 shall constitute the ipopp framework with currently available spas for modis.
