About the company
Tunic County Community Development Coalition (TCCDC) is a minority-owned, non-profit community development corporation that provides housing, community, and economic development services in Tunica County, Mississippi. TCCDC supports affordable housing development, financial literacy and homebuyer education programs, youth programs, and community outreach for underserved groups.
Through federal grant subawards, TCCDC has provided staffing to develop single and multifamily affordable housing, plan housing construction projects, and support financial counselors preparing homebuyers. These housing services were funded through Enterprise Community Partners and Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) grants. Additionally, TCCDC utilized an LISC grant to develop a Housing Resource Center to centralize housing development services, counseling, and assistance for communities in need. The organization also participates in USDA's Self-Help Housing program to enable low income individuals to build their own homes, for which they have applied for a $300,000 USDA technical assistance grant.
