About the company

Serra Manufacturing Corporation, doing business as Serra Manufacturing, is a precision stamping company that has been producing precision rings, washers, brackets, and other components for clients in the aerospace, medical, and transportation industries since its founding in 1959. It is registered as a corporate entity and has various business designations including minority-owned, woman-owned small business, and Hispanic American-owned.

Serra Manufacturing has primarily provided goods through sub-federal contract awards. These include providing spring clips as a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman Systems Corp on multiple occasions. Additionally, it has provided broader categories of "parts (to include spring clips)" also as a subcontractor to Northrop Grumman Systems Corp. While the specific funding agencies are not listed, the prime contractor Northrop Grumman Systems Corp likely received contracts from the Department of Defense or other federal agencies involved in aerospace and defense contracting. Serra Manufacturing's status as a minority-owned, woman-owned, and Hispanic American-owned small business likely qualified it for set-aside subcontracting opportunities with these prime contractors.
