About the company
Sakh'Ulutsha The Scripture Union Lifeskills Education Institute is an international non-profit organization based in Cape Town, South Africa, registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) from February 17, 2023, to February 26, 2026. As a foreign-owned, non-profit entity, the organization appears to focus on community development and social support programs, particularly in the KwaZulu-Natal region of South Africa. While specific details about the organization's core mission are not provided in the available data, its name suggests an emphasis on educational and life skills programming for community enhancement.
The organization has received federal grant sub-awards exclusively through Pact, Inc. as the prime grantee, with a focused scope on family strengthening interventions in specific districts of KwaZulu-Natal. These sub-awards, dated March 18, 2024, and November 20, 2024, indicate the organization's involvement in the DREAMS (Determined, Resilient, Empowered, AIDS-free, Mentored, and Safe) initiative, which appears to be a targeted program supporting family resilience and community well-being. The sub-awards specifically target the King Cetshwayo and Ugu districts, suggesting a localized approach to implementing family strengthening programs. While the exact funding agency is not specified, the grants appear to be part of a larger U.S. government-supported international development effort focused on community support and social services in South Africa.
