About the company
Philadelphia Young Playwrights is a non-profit organization that provides playwriting programs and public performances for youth. Through federal grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, they have conducted playwriting residencies and workshops for students.
Past federal grants to Philadelphia Young Playwrights have supported in-school playwriting residencies and workshops from 2020-2023. These grants ranged from $15,000 to $25,000 and allowed Philadelphia Young Playwrights to bring teaching artists into schools to lead playwriting exercises and provide feedback.
