About Oklahoma City Community College
Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) is the largest community college in the Oklahoma City metro area and one of the most affordable higher education institutions in the state. OCCC offers a wide range of associate degree programs and provides educational services to the federal government through contracts and grants.
Through a $500 firm fixed price delivery order, OCCC provided educational services and support to the Department of the Navy under the United States Naval Community College Partnerships master IDIQ to further the Navy's community college partnerships program. As the prime contractor, OCCC directly delivered these products and services in Oklahoma City to support the Navy's goal of expanding educational opportunities for servicemembers, veterans, and families.
OCCC has received several federal grants from the Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education to provide a range of goods and services. These include formula grants totaling over $40 million in funds from the CARES Act to provide COVID-19 relief and stimulus funding for higher education. OCCC also received project grants to offer TRIO Student Support Services, Upward Bound programming targeting specific high schools, and the GRIT program for realizing individual transformation. As the prime grantee, OCCC directly provides these student services. OCCC has also been a subrecipient on federal grants from the Oklahoma Department of Education for Carl Perkins vocational training funds and the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for higher education prevention services related to opioids and stimulants.
Additionally, OCCC holds an indefinite delivery contract under the United States Naval Community College Partnerships multiple award master IDIQ, with a potential value of $147 million through July 2025. This IDV, awarded by the Navy, enables OCCC to provide educational services and support on individual delivery orders to further the Navy’s community college partnerships program. The initial $500 delivery order was for specific educational services in Oklahoma City from September to October 2020. As the prime contractor under this IDV, OCCC directly delivers goods and services to advance the Navy’s community outreach and recruitment goals locally.
