About Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning & Development Organization

Northeast Ohio Four County Regional Planning & Development Organization (NEFCO) is a U.S. local government entity that provides regional planning and economic development services to Portage, Stark, Summit, and Wayne counties in Ohio. NEFCO coordinates regional collaboration around economic development efforts.

Through past prime federal grants, NEFCO has provided comprehensive economic development strategy planning, regional economic recovery and resiliency planning, and environmental remediation services. These services were funded through Economic Development Administration project grants and an Environmental Protection Agency region 5 project grant.
