New Discoveries Montessori Academy

New Discoveries Montessori Academy is a U.S. local government entity and school district located in Hutchinson, Minnesota, registered in SAM.gov since 2009 with active registration through February 2026. As a Montessori educational institution, the academy focuses on providing specialized educational services to students, emphasizing child-centered learning approaches that promote independent exploration and holistic development. The organization is specifically designed to serve as a public school entity that receives federal funding to support its educational mission and enhance learning opportunities for students in a rural school setting.

The academy primarily receives federal grant awards through the Small, Rural School Achievement Program administered by the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education, with consistent annual formula grants from July 1 to September 30 each year from 2021 to 2025. Additionally, New Discoveries Montessori Academy has received multiple sub-awards from the Minnesota Department of Education, including Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund II grants, Title I Part A grants for improving academic achievement for disadvantaged students, and other state-level educational funding allocations. These sub-awards, ranging from emergency relief funding during the COVID-19 period to targeted academic improvement grants, demonstrate the organization's commitment to securing supplemental resources to support educational quality, infrastructure, and student learning outcomes in a rural school environment. The consistent pattern of federal and state grant awards indicates the academy's ongoing ability to qualify for and effectively utilize educational funding to support its institutional objectives.
