About the company
Mojave River Academy – National Trails, a U.S. local government school district, operates as a federal grant sub-recipient and does not hold prime contract or federal contract vehicle positions. The vendor's federal footprint consists entirely of sub-awards from the Department of Education, routed through the California Department of Education, focused on K–12 school nutrition and academic improvement programming.
Mojave River Academy – National Trails has received four federal grant sub-awards totaling $530 thousand since August 2022, all from a single customer agency: the Department of Education Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. Three sub-awards, each dated August 1, 2022, funded free fresh fruit and vegetable distribution to elementary school children under the federal school nutrition assistance program. One sub-award, dated October 1, 2024, targets academic improvement in high-poverty schools, specifically to support children failing or at risk of failing to meet state achievement standards. All four sub-awards flow through the California Department of Education as the prime grantee.
Activity shows no growth trajectory — three awards in 2022, one award in late 2024 — and no participation in federal contract vehicles, IDIQs, BPAs, or GWACs. The vendor operates exclusively in the sub-recipient capacity with no direct prime relationships to federal agencies. The organization's federal engagement is confined to K–12 educational programming and nutrition assistance within California's public school system, with no commercial or service-delivery contracts in the source data.
