About the company
Memphis Child Advocacy Center is a child friendly, welcoming place for children and families. At the CAC, a team of law enforcement officers, child protection case managers, therapists, investigators, prosecutors work together to ensure the best possible response to allegations of child abuse.
Through past federal grant sub-awards, Memphis Child Advocacy Center has provided services such as direct CAC services, responding to the emotional and physical needs of victims, assisting victims to stabilize their lives after victimization, helping victims understand and participate in the criminal justice system, and providing victims with safety and security. These services were funded through federal programs such as the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) grant program from the Tennessee Department of Finance and Administration and the National Children's Alliance. The services focused on supporting victims of crimes including child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
