About the company
Live & Learn Program is a non-profit organization that serves women affected by poverty and violence by providing education, career training, life skills, mentoring, and financial coaching. Through federal grant sub-awards from the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Live & Learn Program provides Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) employment and training services. These services assist SNAP participants with finding employment and include independent job search assistance, job search training and support, educational programs to improve employability, work experience or on-the-job training, other employment placement services, and self-employment training. The federal grant awards provide 100% federal funding to states to administer these SNAP Employment and Training programs. States can also receive 50% reimbursement for additional allowable expenses such as transportation and childcare costs for SNAP Employment and Training program participants.
