Global Entrepreneurship Network Israel is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporate entity registered in SAM.gov, located in Giv'atayim, Israel. The organization focuses on promoting entrepreneurship and economic development, with a specific emphasis on underrepresented communities, including minorities, women, and residents in peripheral regions of Israel. While detailed information about the organization's broader mission is not provided in the source document, its consistent federal grant awards suggest a dedicated approach to expanding entrepreneurial ecosystems and opportunities across diverse population segments.

The organization has received multiple federal grant awards from the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs, consistently focusing on entrepreneurship promotion and economic empowerment projects. Each grant award, ranging from 2020 to 2024, has emphasized similar thematic objectives: encouraging entrepreneurship among underrepresented communities, organizing Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) in Israel, and expanding access to entrepreneurial ecosystems. The grants, typically project-based with completion dates ranging from 6-8 months, have specific goals such as promoting high-tech entrepreneurship, economic development, and creating opportunities for minorities, women, and peripheral community residents. The most recent grant, awarded in September 2024 with the ID SIS70024GR0530, continues this pattern with a focused initiative titled "EYES ON THE SOCIAL PERIPHERY: ENCOURAGING ENTREPRENEURSHIP," which aims to promote entrepreneurship in Israel with particular attention to underrepresented communities.
