Elm River Township School District

Elm River Township School District is a U.S. local government entity registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) since July 2009, with registration valid through June 2025. As a school district, the organization focuses on providing primary and secondary educational services to its local community. The district is specifically recognized as a small, rural school system that qualifies for targeted federal educational support programs.

The school district has consistently received federal grant awards through the Small, Rural School Achievement Program administered by the Office of Elementary and Secondary Education. These formula grants have been awarded annually from 2021 through 2025, each covering a fiscal year period from July 1 to September 30. The grants are designed to provide financial support to rural school districts, helping them enhance educational resources, improve infrastructure, support teaching staff, and maintain educational quality in smaller, geographically isolated school systems. While the specific detailed allocations are not provided, the recurring nature of these awards suggests the district meets ongoing federal criteria for rural school support and has demonstrated effective use of previous grant funding. The grants represent a critical funding mechanism for small school districts like Elm River Township to access additional resources that might not be available through local tax base funding alone.
