About the company

De La Salle Educ Center is a Missouri charter high school providing educational services to urban youth at high risk of not completing high school through individualized instruction, support services and college and career readiness programs. According to its website, DeLaSalle is the only such charter high school in Missouri dedicated to this mission.

Through various federal grant sub-awards, De La Salle Educ Center has provided specialized educational services to its disadvantaged student population. These services have been funded via the federal IDEA Part B program for students with disabilities, as well as the Title I Part A program for economically deprived students. The prime grantees for these programs have been the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Additionally, De La Salle Educ Center has received American Rescue Plan funding from the Elementary and Secondary Schools Emergency Relief Fund to continue serving students during the COVID-19 pandemic. In all cases, the federal funds have enabled De La Salle Educ Center to fulfill its mission of keeping at-risk urban students on track to complete high school through supplemental instruction, support programs and career development opportunities tailored to individual needs.
