About the company
College Success Foundation is a national nonprofit that helps underserved, low income students achieve a college education. They provide an integrated system of supports and scholarships to inspire underserved students to graduate from high school and succeed in college.
Through subawards from the Washington State Office of Financial Management, College Success Foundation has provided AmeriCorps members to serve as college and career coaches in middle schools across Washington. These AmeriCorps members are responsible for improving students' college awareness, bolstering the schools' college-going culture, and leveraging additional volunteers for college and career workshops. This work has been funded through AmeriCorps grants focused on the education area from the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS). College Success Foundation has matched these CNCS grants with additional public and private funding.
