Assotsiatsiyai Zyoiyoni Ilmi-Tekhnikii Tochikiston Tashkiloti Jamiyatii is a non-profit organization registered in SAM.gov, focused on fostering cultural and educational exchanges between the United States and Tajikistan. The organization primarily operates through cooperative agreements with U.S. federal agencies, specializing in cultural diplomacy, youth engagement, and community development programs. Its primary mission appears to be strengthening bilateral relationships by implementing educational and cultural initiatives that promote mutual understanding between Americans and Tajik citizens.

The organization has consistently received federal grant awards from two primary agencies: the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs. Its grant-funded projects have included maintaining and operating American Spaces in Khujand, Tajikistan, which serve as public programming venues for cultural exchange. These programs focus on delivering regular events that strengthen people-to-people connections, empower local leaders, and address critical social challenges such as youth resilience against radicalization. Specific grant-supported activities have included implementing public programs to promote understanding of the United States, convening Tajik leadership development initiatives, and developing intervention strategies to build youth resilience against violent extremism. The grants range from short-term projects lasting approximately one year to multi-year cooperative agreements, with award amounts and specific scopes varying across different funding cycles.
