Enhancing the safety, utilility, effeciency of aircraft and the NAS through research.
Capability statement
Adaptive Aerospace Group, Inc., (AAG) mission is to enhance the safety, utility, and efficiency of a wide range of aircraft as well as the National Airspace System (NAS) through leading-edge research and development. AAG develops, manages, executes, and supports a number of aerospace research areas with expertise in flight dynamics, flight simulation, spacecraft control, air traffic control, NAS operations, Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Detect and Avoid, aircraft systems and displays, requirements development, and experience with rule-making committees (RTCA, Inc. & ASTM). AAG performs flight experiments on a 1979 Cessna R182 instrumented to record aircraft state information and avionics system output, with multiple air-data sources. A number of our members are pilots in addition to being engineers. Our synergistic R&D and real-world experiences support development and "reality checks" of both evolutionary and revolutionary concepts.
