The award, titled "SUPERCHARGE NY," will support the delivery of products and services to advance the deployment of clean energy technologies in Brooklyn, New York. Specifically, New Energy Nexus New York LLC will leverage the funding to expand the public impact of DOE's research and development portfolio through technology demonstration and commercialization efforts that advance both economic and energy security priorities in the specified location.

The Arrowhead RenewTech Incubator is a $950,000 Cooperative Agreement awarded on December 20, 2024 by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Technology Transitions (CFDA 81.010 - Technology Deployment, Demonstration and Commercialization) to New Mexico State University's Arrowhead Center. The project aims to build on the university's in-house incubator offerings, focusing on emerging energy and water technologies. Working with national laboratories, New Mexico communities, and industry, startups in accelerator cohorts will either commercialize laboratory technologies available for licensing or develop solutions to community/industry challenges using their own or lab-developed technologies. The 3-year project will run through December 19, 2027.

Request for Information: Office of Technology Transitions Current and Future Commercialization Programming The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Office of Technology Transitions (OTT) seeks information to help it refine the scope and structure of its commercialization programs. These programs are intended to address specific challenges in the commercialization process as ideas move across the research, development, demonstration and deployment (RDD & D) continuum. OTT would like to learn: -Your feedback on its programs -Commercialization challenges that its programs do not currently address -Ideas for programs that are applicable to a variety of technologies -Ways to better promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in all programs Responses to this RFI must be submitted electronically to ott.rfi@hq.doe.gov no later than 3:00pm ET on January 19, 2022. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only. OTT will not pay for information provided under this RFI and no project will be supported as a result of this RFI.
