Funded activities included overtime, law enforcement and medical personal protective equipment, hiring, supplies such as gloves and masks, sanitizer, training, travel expenses for resource distribution to impacted areas, and addressing medical needs of inmates in state, local, and tribal correctional facilities. Representative awards funded pandemic response across jurisdictions nationwide: Etowah County's COVID-19 supplemental support ($58,008), the Town of Apple Valley's coronavirus emergency response ($58,791), Waterloo Police Department's COVID-19 response project ($190,086), Pierce County Sheriff's Department coronavirus pandemic response ($371,476), and Wilmington's coronavirus funding ($210,262).
