OSD ManTech Program, Manufacturing Education and Workforce Development
The Department of Defense seeks applications through a cooperative agreement for the OSD ManTech Program, Manufacturing Education and Workforce Development initiative. Eligible applicants include non-profit institutions, universities, and state education agencies to identify and categorize the advanced manufacturing workforce, implement education and training programs, and conduct STEM outreach initiatives specific to defense advanced manufacturing. Selection will be based on technical merit, approach, capacity, and complementarity to existing DoD programs. Applications are due by November 15, 2023. Up to $18 million may be awarded over five years, with $2 million available for the first year and $4 million each year thereafter. Funding will support mechanisms and organizational structures to promote education and training of the defense manufacturing workforce across non-profit institutions, institutions of higher education, and state or local educational agencies.
