About this opportunity
The Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) issued a Request for Quote solicitation for the procurement and installation of digital radiology equipment at two correctional facilities. The procurement requires the provision and installation of two AGFA CR 10-X CR Systems, with one unit delivered to Limon Correctional Facility in Limon, Colorado, and the second unit to Arkansas Valley Correctional Facility in Ordway, Colorado. Each system includes digital image acquisition devices with advanced packages, cassette plate sets, CR servers, uninterruptible power supplies, workstations with DICOM color LCD monitors, and associated software for eFilm viewing and remote access capabilities. Installation and comprehensive training are mandatory at both locations. The bid submission deadline is March 25, 2016, at 2:00 PM Mountain Standard Time, with responses to be submitted via email to maryann.shaw@state.co.us or by fax to (719) 269-4064. Prospective bidders must be registered on the Colorado Vendor Self Service website prior to submission. Evaluation criteria include cost, quality and safety considerations, projected delivery dates and equipment availability, lifecycle costs, bidder qualifications and experience, and whether the bidder qualifies as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business based in Colorado.
The CDOC reserves the right to award the contract to a single bidder or divide the award among multiple bidders as determined to be in the State's best interests. Bidders and their employees providing services on CDOC property may be required to undergo background checks and sign consent forms, with tobacco and contraband items prohibited on all CDOC facilities. All bid prices must include freight costs on an FOB-destination basis, and payment terms are assumed to be Net-45 days after receipt of goods and invoice unless otherwise specified, though payment terms of less than 45 days with discounts are encouraged. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses based in Colorado are given consideration as a preference factor in the evaluation process. No specific budget or award value range is identified in the solicitation documents, and the CDOC reserves the right to cancel orders for which delivery is not made by the stated delivery dates.
