About this opportunity

The scope spans three tiers: Tier 1 District-Wide K–5 Writing Resources, Tier 1 Grades 6–12 Writing Resources, and Special Education Adaptive Writing Curriculum for students with significant cognitive disabilities. Digital materials must meet IMS Global standardization, employ HTML5 web-based design with responsive design capabilities, and integrate through Learning Tools Interoperability standards. The estimated scope includes approximately 3,500 student editions per grade and 200 teacher editions per grade, supporting approximately 17,500 K–5 students and 26,000 Grades 6–12 students across 50 schools (28 elementary, 11 middle, 10 high). The district currently uses Open Court Reading Foundational Skills (K–2), Scholastic Leveled Bookroom (K–5), HMH Into Literature (6–12), Illuminate Education (K–12), Read 180 (4–10), and System 44 (3–10).

Vendors must submit print and digital samples and access credentials in PDF format through the Bonfire portal (henryk12.bonfirehub.com/portal/). All required addenda—execution of proposal, offeror information, non-collusion certification, non-discrimination certification, and addenda acknowledgement—must be signed and submitted electronically. Vendors must demonstrate licensure, appropriate insurance coverage, and acknowledge compliance with the Georgia Open Records Act. Digital review is scheduled October 4–27, 2021, with evaluation occurring October 13–20, 2021 and vendor notification October 20–27, 2021. Board recommendation follows on November 8, 2021. No pricing, set-asides, contract values, or contract terms are specified.
