About this opportunity
The Worth County School District is seeking competitive sealed bids for Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel on Road Grade, with a procurement period covering January 1, 2025 through December 31, 2025. The district requires diesel fuel delivery to their Bus Shop, with an estimated annual consumption of 90,000 gallons to be delivered in 7,500 gallon loads. Bidders must submit sealed proposals by December 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. to Kim Oliver at the Worth County Board of Education, located at 103 Eldridge Street, Sylvester, GA 31791. Key submission requirements include providing a completed W-9 form, E-Verify documentation, and a Certificate of Liability. The bid price should represent net diesel cost, inclusive of all delivery expenses, and exclude any federal or state taxes that can be legally eliminated for educational institutions in Georgia. Pricing will be evaluated on a per-gallon basis, with the school district reserving the right to reject any or all bids submitted.
While no specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are mentioned in the procurement documents, potential bidders must demonstrate compliance with standard business documentation requirements. No incumbent vendors are identified in the available materials, and no specific budget range or estimated contract value is provided beyond the anticipated 90,000 gallon annual fuel requirement. Interested vendors can obtain additional information by contacting Rusty Parten at 229-776-8612 or rparten@worthschools.net. The procurement appears to be a standard fuel supply contract for a local school district's transportation needs, with straightforward qualification criteria focused on documentation and competitive pricing. Potential bidders should carefully review all submission requirements and ensure complete compliance with the district's specifications to be considered for the fuel supply contract.
