About this opportunity

Pennsylvania Western University's California Campus is seeking multiple Work Order Construction Contracts for up to two contractors across three specific service categories: Cal-234 (Excavation, Asphalt Paving, and Concrete Maintenance Services), Cal-235 (Miscellaneous Masonry Services), and Cal-236 (Miscellaneous Roofing Services). The procurement is located in California Borough, Washington County, PA, and requires contractors capable of providing rapid on-site services for various construction-related tasks. Contractors must furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete projects in compliance with state, county, and local regulations. A non-mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for December 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM in Dixon Hall, Room 327, and electronic bids are due by 2:00 PM EST on January 9, 2024, through PASSHE's ARIBA Sourcepoint. Interested bidders must register on the ARIBA platform to obtain solicitation documents and submit proposals. The contract is structured as a one-year agreement with potential renewal for two additional two-year terms, totaling a possible five-year contract period.

The solicitation does not explicitly mention set-aside designations or specific restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. Bidders must register on the ARIBA platform, which is a free process designed to provide bid privacy, security, and supplier confidentiality. While specific award values are not detailed, the contract is structured as a unit-priced Work Order Contract, with individual work orders issued as services are needed. The procurement appears open to qualified construction service providers who can demonstrate capability in excavation, paving, concrete maintenance, masonry, and roofing services. The contract's flexible structure suggests potential for ongoing, as-needed construction work across multiple service categories at the Pennsylvania Western University California Campus. Contractors should be prepared to respond quickly to service requests and maintain compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements throughout the potential five-year contract period.
