About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a state and local contract opportunity for windshield, interior/exterior services in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement is urgent and will be awarded based on a combination of price and availability to ensure timely fulfillment. Vendors are required to register on Bonfire to access full details and the bid table, and must submit comprehensive pricing information that includes item availability and delivery timelines. The solicitation specifically requires vendors to provide quotes with FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall price. Vendors must adhere to DART's specific delivery terms, understanding that failure to deliver at specified times could result in rejection and default termination. The bid response deadline is December 15, 2025, with the opportunity initially posted on December 8, 2025. Evaluation will prioritize vendors who can demonstrate rapid procurement capabilities and competitive pricing for windshield and interior/exterior services.
No specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types were explicitly mentioned in the provided documentation. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices required to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and include detailed information such as purchase order number, item number, descriptions, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. While no incumbent vendors were identified, the procurement documents indicate a preference for vendors capable of quick turnaround and comprehensive service delivery. The complete purchase order terms and conditions are available in the attached PDF document, which vendors should carefully review. Though no specific budget range was provided, the urgent nature of the procurement suggests DART is seeking efficient and cost-effective solutions for windshield and interior/exterior services that can be quickly implemented across their transportation infrastructure.
