About this opportunity

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking bids for the procurement of 4.5 million 400 micron screen size clam seed. The successful vendor will be required to provide the clam seed, which must be from a WDFW certified disease and drill free source, free of drills and drill egg casings, and screened and washed prior to delivery. The clam seed must be delivered no later than close of business on June 28, 2024, with WDFW picking up the seed at vendor facilities within 100 road miles of Port Townsend, Washington. Vendors outside that range must deliver to Port Townsend or an agreed upon location and include the delivery cost in their bid. The exact procurement amount may be adjusted to meet budget requirements, but the bid price must remain the same. WDFW will process payment within 30 days of the conclusion of goods and services being received and accepted.

This procurement is subject to Washington State's Supplier Diversity Policy, with a bid preference given to Small Businesses and Veteran-Owned Businesses, unless none are responsive and responsible to the solicitation. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) does not provide any information on incumbent vendors or current contractors, or indicate any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFQ also does not specify any award values or budget ranges.
