The scope includes SmartSensor Matrix 16-beam stop bar sensors for presence detection at signalized intersections (140-foot detection range, 90-degree field of view), SmartSensor Advance continuous tracking detectors for forward-fire detection with dynamic estimated time of arrival tracking (50 to 600-foot detection range), and associated mounting hardware, cabling, junction boxes, surge protection cards, cabinet interface devices, and alignment tools. Products must include two-year warranties and comprehensive training and technical support. Acceptable equivalent products are permitted provided they meet all stated specifications for sensor outputs, detection capabilities, physical properties, electrical requirements, communication ports, radar design, configuration functionality, and operating conditions.

The bid table includes 13 line items spanning 11 SmartSensor Matrix units, 6 SmartSensor Advance units, 17 SmartSensor Mount components, cables, junction boxes, surge protection devices, hubs, and spooled cable.

Pricing must be submitted on a firm, fixed-price, all-inclusive basis with F.O.B. destination to the TxDOT Brazoria Area Office in Angleton, Texas. Responses are evaluated on 50 points for approach to meeting specifications, 10 points for lead time, and 40 points for pricing. Tentative award date is August 27, 2026. Questions were due August 3, 2026. Respondents must register on the Texas Comptroller Centralized Master Bidders List and submit responses through the Euna Procurement system (https://txdot.bonfirehub.com/).
