About this opportunity
The City of Dublin, Georgia is requesting bids on annual water treatment chemicals—liquid chlorine (one-ton containers and 150-pound cylinders), hydrofluorosilicic acid, and potassium permanganate—with sealed bids due June 8, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time. A 3% local-vendor preference applies to vendors within Dublin.
All chemicals must be NSF 60 Standard certified and AWWA approved. Delivery is required to two water treatment plants at 106 Parker's Dairy Road and 200 Truxton Street, and the wastewater treatment plant at 250 Riverview Drive in Dublin. The City will award contracts for the twelve-month period July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027.
Estimated annual consumption based on May 2026 usage is 10–20 tons of liquid chlorine in one-ton containers, 60–80 of the 150-pound cylinders, and as-needed quantities of HFS in portable totes and potassium permanganate in 55-pound pails. Vendors may deliver small orders with no minimum quantities and must meet delivery within five days of notice. Pricing must remain firm for the entire contract period; vendors must specify minimum notice periods for any anticipated price increases, and the City reserves the right to terminate upon notice of price increase.
The City reserves the right to request free samples prior to award and to award contracts to multiple bidders for different items or to reject any or all bids. Site inspections are encouraged but not mandatory. Bids may be submitted online through BidNet Direct or DemandStar or by hard copy to the City of Dublin Purchasing Department. Bidders must submit executed Affidavits of Non-Collusion, Bidder's Declarations, W-9 forms, and SAVE Compliance affidavits; federal work authorization is required under O.C.G.A. 13-10-91. No bid or performance bonds are required. Payment terms are net thirty days, invoiced monthly or upon completion and acceptance.
