About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure WASHER, RETAINING, 3/8, SSTL (Stainless Steel) in boxes of 50 units, with reference number 2094892. This procurement opportunity is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, with a posting date of September 7, 2025, and a response deadline of September 11, 2025. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and must submit their proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to adhere to specific freight and delivery terms, with all bids expected to reflect FOB Destination shipping terms and include freight costs in the overall price. Vendors must understand that delivery timing is critical, and failure to meet specified delivery rates could result in order rejection or default termination. DART will evaluate submissions based on compliance with their purchase order terms and conditions, which are detailed in the attached PDF document.

The contract opportunity appears to have no specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org and include specific documentation such as purchase order number, item details, quantities, and pricing. Vendors must provide commercial warranties ensuring product merchantability and comply with equal opportunity employment standards. Additional vendor certifications include confirming they are not on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and do not boycott Israel. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated for this small hardware procurement, the opportunity is governed by Texas state law, with any potential legal disputes to be resolved in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement is structured as a purchase order with standard DART Authority terms and conditions, suggesting a straightforward, transactional procurement process for a specific type of stainless steel retaining washer.
