About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), a government entity operating in Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting bids for the procurement of Washers Cut 5/16" in packages of 100 units (item number 2097625). This is a straightforward supply purchase with the primary objective of acquiring replacement or maintenance washers for DART's transit operations. Bidders must submit responses through the BONFIRE registration system by the deadline of January 29, 2026, with the posting date of January 22, 2026 providing a one-week response window. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and delivery schedules are considered essential to contract performance, with failure to meet specified delivery timelines potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. Vendors must comply with all Purchase Order Terms and Conditions established by DART, including submission of invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with specific documentation requirements including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be rendered on a Net 30 basis from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.

No specific set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, or incumbent vendor information is provided in the available contract documentation. The procurement documents do not identify any restrictions limiting organizational eligibility to respond, nor do they specify veteran-owned, minority-owned, or women-owned business enterprise (VOSB/MOBE/WOBE) preferences. Vendors are required to certify compliance with Texas state requirements regarding foreign terrorist organizations and agree not to boycott Israel as conditions of contracting with DART. The contract documentation does not disclose an estimated award value, budget range, or total quantity of units required beyond the unit package size of 100 washers. All disputes arising from the purchase order shall be governed by Texas law with venue established in Dallas County, and sellers must provide commercial warranties on all supplied items and maintain compliance with equal opportunity employment requirements.
