Vehicle Purchase and Recycling-Ravalli County

The state and local contract opportunity posted by Ravalli County, Montana focuses on a junk vehicle purchase and recycling event for the county's vehicle graveyard. The procurement seeks vendors capable of purchasing and responsibly recycling junk vehicles through a specialized collection event. While specific details about required qualifications are not fully elaborated in the provided documentation, the contract appears to be targeting recycling contractors with expertise in vehicle dismantling and environmentally compliant disposal processes. The solicitation was posted on April 29, 2024, with proposals due by May 13, 2024, indicating a relatively short procurement window of approximately two weeks. The government file attached to the opportunity contains information about a separate food solicitation for the Montana School for the Deaf & Blind, which does not appear directly related to the vehicle recycling contract.

Unfortunately, the provided documentation lacks comprehensive details about potential set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or specific award values for this vehicle recycling opportunity. The contract appears to be a local county-level procurement without explicit restrictions on vendor participation, though typical government contracting practices might favor local or certified businesses. Without additional context, it is challenging to definitively state the potential budget range or specific integration requirements for this vehicle purchase and recycling event. Interested vendors would likely need to contact Ravalli County directly to obtain more detailed specifications about the scope of work, expected vehicle volumes, and any technical requirements for vehicle processing and recycling.
