About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for vault and coin equipment through Purchase Order 2097641, with a deadline of January 30, 2026. This procurement requires FOB Destination pricing with freight costs included in the overall bid amount, and deliveries must strictly adhere to specified timelines and rates, as failure to meet delivery requirements constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Bidders must submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals, with payment terms established at Net 30 from invoice receipt or order receipt, whichever is later. The Authority requires all vendors to carry commercial warranty coverage meeting merchantable quality standards and specifications, comply with equal opportunity employment provisions, and certify compliance with foreign terrorist organization prohibitions and Israel boycott restrictions under Texas state law. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination unless otherwise specified, with sellers responsible for conducting inspections and tests to verify specification compliance. The Contracting Officer retains authority to make written changes to the order, with sellers entitled to equitable adjustments for cost or time impacts if claimed within 30 days of receiving change notices. All purchase orders are subject to DART's complete Terms and Conditions, which establish the contractual framework for rights, obligations, and remedies for both the Authority and sellers.

The procurement documents do not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting responses to particular organization types, such as disadvantaged or minority-owned enterprises, based on the available information. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the opportunity materials, and no existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements are noted. The DART Authority is exempt from Texas state and local sales taxes, and any sales taxes appearing on invoices will be deducted from payment amounts. The Authority reserves the right to terminate orders either for default due to non-performance or for convenience when deemed in the Authority's best interest. No specific budget or award value range is disclosed in the contract posting materials provided.
