About this opportunity
The Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) is requesting proposals for vape detectors under an annual contract (Bid 23-13), with the final proposal due date of September 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time following two deadline extensions via addenda.
The contract term runs from August 15, 2022 through August 14, 2023, with the District reserving the right to renew for two additional one-year periods by mutual written agreement. Service delivery commences October 1, 2022 and continues through September 23, 2023. All equipment must be new manufacturer equipment with a minimum 12-month warranty covering parts and labor.
The contractor must maintain comprehensive insurance: Commercial General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate), Commercial Automobile Liability ($1,000,000 combined single limit / $2,000,000 aggregate), Workers' Compensation at statutory limits, and Umbrella Insurance ($1,000,000 per claim / $1,000,000 aggregate), with the District named as an additional insured. Pricing and payment terms are specified in Attachment B of the sample contract and are subject to District approval without allowance for price increases, fuel surcharges, or add-on costs during the contract term or extensions except as expressly authorized in writing. The contractor assumes liquidated damages of $200 per day for unexcused delays in performance.
Monthly invoices must be submitted to both the Accounts Payable Department and Academic Affairs (Justin Pratt, Emergency Management Coordinator) and include the purchase order number, project name, site description, work description, and solicitation number. The District remits payment within 40 days of invoice approval through check, electronic funds transfer, or credit card. A 90-day transition period applies following termination if either party requests continuation of services during replacement procurement.
