About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of a mechanical valve with specific pressure requirements (90 PSI) under solicitation number 2097499. The contract opportunity was posted on January 13, 2026, with proposals due by January 20, 2026. Potential vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bid details and must submit responses through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement focuses on acquiring valves with precise technical specifications, requiring vendors to demonstrate capability in supplying high-quality mechanical components that meet DART's infrastructure needs. Vendors must comply with comprehensive purchase order terms, including FOB Destination shipping requirements and strict delivery timelines. All submissions must include complete pricing reflecting freight costs, with failure to meet delivery schedules potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination. The procurement process mandates that vendors submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with payment terms structured on a Net 30 basis.
The contract opportunity appears open to various vendors, though participants must meet specific compliance requirements. Vendors must certify they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list and must verify they do not boycott Israel. Equal opportunity employment practices are required, and vendors must avoid conflicts of interest with DART officials. While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed, the opportunity suggests compliance with standard municipal procurement guidelines. The procurement does not specify a precise award value or budget range, but requires comprehensive documentation, technical conformity, and commercial warranties guaranteeing product quality and suitability for intended use. Vendors must be prepared to undergo inspections and verify that their supplies meet all specified technical requirements and drawings referenced in the purchase order. Dispute resolution will adhere to Texas state law and be venue-specific to Dallas County.
