About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking to procure a mechanical valve with specific technical specifications, rated at 90 PSI, identified by solicitation number 2095913. This procurement opportunity was posted on October 17, 2025, with proposals due by October 23, 2025. Vendors must complete Bonfire registration to access full bidding details and must submit their proposals through the platform's in-browser BidTable window. The procurement requires vendors to provide the mechanical valve with freight terms set as FOB Destination, meaning shipping costs must be included in the overall price. Potential suppliers must adhere to DART's strict delivery terms, where timing and delivery rates are critical, with failure to meet specified delivery parameters potentially resulting in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must also comply with comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions, which include detailed invoicing requirements, specifically submitting invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with precise documentation of purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement appears to have no specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises, though the terms emphasize equal opportunity employment practices. Vendors must meet several critical compliance requirements, including not being listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with contracts with foreign terrorist organizations and certifying they do not boycott Israel. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices paid 30 days from receipt or 30 days from order receipt, whichever is later. While no specific award value is listed, the procurement suggests this is a targeted equipment acquisition for DART's operational infrastructure. Legal jurisdiction for any disputes is explicitly set in Dallas County, Texas, with all contractual interpretations governed by Texas state law. Potential bidders should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, which provides comprehensive guidelines for engagement, and be prepared to demonstrate technical capability to supply the specified 90 PSI mechanical valve meeting DART's precise operational requirements.
