About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order solicitation for a valve magnet door counter (Item #2097722) in Dallas County, Texas. The procurement involves the acquisition of a specific component with delivery being critical to the order's execution. The solicitation was posted on January 27, 2026, with a bid due date of February 13, 2026. Interested vendors must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the BidTable, where they will find vendor response fields and specifications. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall quoted price, and delivery schedules are considered essential to the contract, with seller failure to meet specified timelines potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment terms are Net 30 from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt.

The solicitation documents do not explicitly specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) requirements, or restrictions limiting eligible respondents to particular entity types based on the information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. The procurement requires sellers to comply with standard DART terms and conditions, including warranties covering merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, certification that the seller is not on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list, and certification that neither the seller nor affiliated entities boycott Israel. All applicable federal, state, and local taxes must be included in quoted prices, with DART being exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes. The specific contract value or budget range is not disclosed in the solicitation materials available.
