About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity posted by Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is for the procurement of valves, specifically for Line 7/8, with solicitation number 2096651. The contract opportunity was posted on December 11, 2025, with proposals due by December 18, 2025. Vendors must register on the Bonfire platform to access detailed bid specifications and project requirements. The procurement involves the purchase of valves, with strict delivery and performance requirements outlined in the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Key operational requirements include adherence to precise delivery schedules, with failure to meet specified time and rate of deliveries potentially resulting in rejection and default termination. Vendors must submit comprehensive invoices with specific details including purchase order numbers, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the available documentation, but vendors must comply with extensive contractual provisions, including freight terms of FOB Destination and payment terms of Net 30.
No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises are explicitly mentioned in the contract opportunity documents. The procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's stringent technical and operational requirements. Vendors must certify they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization connections and do not boycott Israel. Additional vendor qualifications include ability to provide comprehensive documentation, meet precise delivery schedules, and comply with commercial warranty provisions. While no specific award value or budget range is provided, the contract appears to be for specific valve components for DART's Line 7/8 infrastructure. The procurement process requires vendors to demonstrate technical capability, operational reliability, and full compliance with DART's comprehensive purchase order terms and conditions. Potential respondents should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document to understand the full scope of requirements and expectations.
