About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has issued a procurement opportunity for specific valve, flow, silencer, exhaust, magnet valve assembly, and door components located in Dallas County, Texas. The solicitation requires mandatory Bonfire registration to access complete bid details and project specifications. Vendors must submit responses by December 18, 2025, with all bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms and including freight costs in the overall price. DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rates are critical, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules potentially resulting in order rejection and default termination. The procurement requires vendors to submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org, with detailed documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Potential bidders must comply with strict payment terms of Net 30 and adhere to DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions.
While no specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly mentioned in the available documentation, vendors must meet several important qualifications. Respondents must provide commercial warranties confirming product merchantability, suitability for intended use, and specification compliance. The contract is governed by Texas law, with venue in Dallas County, and sellers must certify non-association with foreign terrorist organizations and non-boycott of Israel. Vendors must also be prepared for potential contract modifications, with DART reserving the right to make changes through written notice and providing equitable adjustments to contract price or delivery schedules if such changes impact seller costs or performance timelines. The procurement is tax-exempt, with DART explicitly exempt from Texas sales and use taxes. Although specific award values are not disclosed, interested parties must complete the Bonfire registration process to access comprehensive bid details and potential contract value information.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
