About this opportunity
The state and local contract opportunity is a procurement issued by Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) for VALVE, BUSHING-CHECK with solicitation number 2097528. The opportunity is located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires vendors to register through Bonfire to access full bid details. The procurement appears to be focused on acquiring specific valve and bushing components, with strict delivery and performance requirements. Key submission deadlines include a proposal due date of January 21, 2026, with vendors required to follow FOB Destination shipping terms and include freight costs in their overall pricing. DART emphasizes that time and rate of deliveries are essential, and failure to meet specified delivery schedules could result in order rejection or default termination. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with detailed documentation including purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. However, the Purchase Order Terms and Conditions document indicates some important compliance requirements, including certification that the vendor is not on the Texas Comptroller's foreign terrorist organization list and adherence to equal opportunity employment practices. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt. While specific award value or budget range is not disclosed in the provided documentation, vendors must include all applicable federal, state, and local taxes in their pricing. The procurement requires vendors to provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use. Importantly, all prices must be comprehensive, and DART is exempt from Texas sales and use taxes. The contract will be governed by Texas law, with any legal venue situated in Dallas County.
