About this opportunity
Georgia Public Library Service is soliciting proposals for online patron account registration and renewal services for Georgia public libraries, with proposals due September 27, 2022. The scope encompasses self-service patron account registration and renewal with address verification and standardization across 60 public library systems—51 in the PINES consortium and 9 independent systems.
The selected vendor must integrate with the PINES statewide integrated library system, which operates on Evergreen, an open-source integrated library system. Evergreen is the platform for 85% of Georgia's libraries. PINES serves as a shared collection of approximately 10 million items across the state, and the new registration and renewal services must support the statewide access model that allows patrons holding a PINES library card to request materials across all participating systems for free delivery to their home library.
The procurement is issued under the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.). No contract value, contract term, evaluation criteria, or incumbent contractor information is identified in the source material.
