About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard is requesting proposals for monthly pest control services at multiple USCG facilities in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina under a Total Small Business Set-Aside (NAICS 561710), with proposals due June 19, 2026.

Only small businesses are eligible. The contractor must develop and implement a comprehensive Integrated Pest Management (IPM) plan addressing insect and rodent issues across USCG installations using habitat modification, biological controls, mechanical controls, and targeted pesticide application where necessary. The contractor provides all management, licenses, laboratory testing, tools, supplies, equipment, transportation, and labor. Services are delivered monthly and as needed during standard business hours (Monday–Friday, 8 a.m.–4 p.m.). All contract employees applying pesticides must maintain current state pesticide application certificates or licenses, which the contractor is responsible for keeping valid. Pesticide mixing and storage must occur off the installation, and the contractor assumes full financial responsibility for mitigating any spills or releases of hazardous substances.

The contractor must conduct facility surveys, review historical pest activity records, and maintain a quality control program including systematic inspections, customer service and emergency response, and pest prevention education for facility managers and occupants. All pest management practices must comply with EPA, OSHA, and state/local regulatory guidance on pesticide storage, disposal, and application. Performance will be evaluated under a Government Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan, and the contractor must implement procedures to identify and prevent service deficiencies from recurring.

The primary point of contact is Julia S. Kline at the USCG. Place of performance is at USCG facilities in Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina.
