About this opportunity

The City of Fort Lauderdale is requesting bids for turf grass maintenance in city alleyways under a rebid, with proposals due September 23, 2026.

The scope requires comprehensive alleyway maintenance including removal of litter, debris, palm fronds, branches, and other items prior to each service; removal of snipe signs and bulletins (open houses, garage sales, lost pets, political announcements); and cleanup via rinsing, raking, sweeping, and blowing to leave each section in safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing condition. The contractor must remove all materials lodged in hedges, plant beds, signs, posts, fences, poles, trees, walls, and similar features without mowing over them. The contractor bears full responsibility for disposal of all trimmings, branches, litter, and small debris — these materials must not be deposited in City or privately owned trash receptacles or dumpsters under any circumstances. For yard waste, palm fronds, tree branches, bulk trash, dumped building debris, or storm damage refuse of five cubic yards or less, the contractor manages removal and disposal. For volumes exceeding five cubic yards, the contractor must notify the Contract Coordinator, indicating a shared responsibility framework for larger debris projects.

No contract value, contract term, incumbent, evaluation criteria, or additional procurement timeline details are provided in the source materials.
