About this opportunity
Trinidad State Junior College (TSJC) in Colorado, with jurisdictional oversight from Denver County and Denver City, has issued a Documented Quote solicitation for the purchase of Douglas Fir utility poles. The procurement requires vendors to provide 69 Class 4 poles of 35-foot length and 11 Class 4 poles of 45-foot length, all manufactured in compliance with ANSI Specification 05.1-2008 for timber quality and dimensions and delivered untreated without processing. Delivery must be made to two specified locations: Pinello Farm (5158 US Highway 85, Colorado Springs, CO 80911) and Pike Peak Community College/TSJC Pole Yard (5675 S. Academy, Colorado Springs, CO 80906) via self-unloader truck on an expedited basis. Quotes were posted on November 15, 2016, with a submission deadline of November 21, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time, and may be submitted via email to terry.hindsman@CCCS.edu (preferred method), by fax to (303) 620-4042, or in hard copy to the CCCS Purchasing Department at 9101 E. Lowry Boulevard, Denver, CO 80230. Award will be made to one vendor based primarily on unit pricing, though TSJC reserves discretion to evaluate payment terms, projected delivery dates, and other pertinent factors. All responses must include pricing on the provided Response Sheet form, a completed W-9, specification sheets, warranty information, and narrative documentation, and vendors must be registered in the Colorado Vendor Self Service (ColoradoVSS) system to be considered responsive.
TSJC has implemented provisions encouraging Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) participation and requests certification documentation from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Pricing terms are established as FOB Destination with Net 45 payment terms, providing vendors clarity on cost allocation and payment schedules. TSJC reserves the right to accept or reject bids on individual items or as a whole, to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities in the procurement process. All quotes are subject to Colorado's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions and state procurement regulations, including compliance with federal and state employment and wage laws. No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the solicitation documents, leaving the total contract value contingent upon responsive quotes received and TSJC's evaluation of pricing and delivery terms.
