Truck Service Body & Lift Gate

The Montana Department of Military Affairs (DMA) is conducting a Limited Solicitation (Number DMA2021-0025) to purchase and install a service body and lift gate for a 2020 Dodge Ram 3500 1 Ton truck. The procurement is specifically seeking a qualified vendor located within 200 miles of Helena who can complete the installation directly at the DMA's location. The solicitation was open from June 1, 2021, to June 11, 2021, at 2:00 PM MDT, with primary contact Bob Oliver available at roliver@mt.gov or +1 406-324-3331 for any vendor inquiries. The commodity codes associated with this procurement include vehicles accessories, tools/tool boxes, and vehicles shop equipment. Payment terms are structured as 0% 0, Net 30, indicating standard government payment protocols. The solicitation uses US Dollars and is structured as a limited procurement, which suggests a more focused acquisition process with potentially fewer competitive bidders.

The solicitation does not explicitly mention any set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises or specific restrictions on vendor qualifications beyond the 200-mile geographical requirement. No incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure details are provided in the available documentation. While a specific budget amount is not disclosed, the procurement appears to be a targeted, straightforward acquisition of a truck service body and lift gate installation. The limited nature of the solicitation and the specific geographical constraints suggest the DMA is seeking a local vendor with specialized capabilities in truck equipment installation. The payment and procurement terms indicate a standard government contracting approach, with a focus on obtaining a precise equipment and installation solution for the department's operational needs.
