About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for TRIM, C-CAR STEP (Contract Number 2097691), a purchase order opportunity posted on January 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 13, 2026. While the specific goods or services are not detailed in the available documentation, this procurement is governed by DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish the contractual framework for all vendor engagements. Qualified vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet strict delivery schedules, as timely performance is essential to the order and failure to deliver at specified times and rates constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall pricing, and vendors must comply with DART's Net 30 payment terms, submitting invoices in triplicate with complete details including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Vendors are required to provide commercial warranties ensuring supplies and services are of merchantable quality and suitable for their intended use, meeting the most favorable commercial warranty terms provided to any customer.
The available documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise preferences, or restrictions on organization types eligible to respond to this opportunity. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the posted materials. The procurement does not reference existing infrastructure or technology requiring integration, though vendors must comply with DART's administrative and compliance requirements, including certification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts and verification that they do not boycott Israel. No award value or budget range is disclosed in the available documentation; interested vendors must access the BONFIRE registration system and initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to view the detailed BidTable with complete project specifications and vendor response fields.

DART does not typically accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add terms. **Delivery Terms Notice -** Time and rate of deliveries are of the essence of this order. Invoices shall be submitted (APInvoices@dart.org) in triplicate (one copy shall be marked 'Original"), unless otherwise specified, and shall contain the following information: purchase order number; item number; purchase order description of supplies, services, or construction; sizes; quantities; unit prices; and extended totals. In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12. As used in this provision, the term "subcontractor" and "subcontractors" means subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers at any level.
