Trash Containers -Train Style

The state and local contract opportunity involves the procurement of trash containers with a train-style design for Floyd County and Union Hall CDP in Virginia. The contract, identified by the unique ID 67c696fd4b576289ce057bf4, was posted on November 15, 2017, with a submission deadline of November 20, 2017. While specific details about the exact specifications of the trash containers are limited, the procurement appears to focus on acquiring waste management infrastructure for the local jurisdictions. The short timeframe between posting and due date suggests an urgent procurement need for these specialized containers. The contract opportunity is specifically targeted at vendors capable of supplying train-style trash containers that meet the technical requirements of Floyd County and Union Hall CDP.

Without additional context provided in the original document, specific details about set-aside designations, incumbent vendors, or precise budget ranges cannot be definitively stated. The procurement appears to be a standard local government contract for municipal infrastructure, likely targeting local or regional waste management equipment suppliers. Given the rural nature of Floyd County and Union Hall CDP, the contract may be designed to support localized waste collection and management needs. The contract's brief description and rapid turnaround time indicate a potentially smaller-scale procurement with focused geographic and functional requirements. Potential respondents would need to carefully review any supplemental documentation to understand the full scope of technical specifications, delivery expectations, and qualification criteria for the trash container procurement.
