About this opportunity
Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) has initiated a procurement opportunity for a TRANSDUCER VOLTAGE, IS, TR-TD1-SP4 with reference number 2094089, located in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement is scheduled for bid submission between August 11, 2025, and August 13, 2025, with strict requirements for vendor participation. Potential bidders must complete Bonfire registration to access detailed bid information and must submit proposals through the in-browser BidTable window. The procurement emphasizes specific delivery and freight terms, mandating FOB Destination shipping with freight costs included in the overall price. DART requires precise delivery timelines and reserves the right to reject and terminate the order if delivery specifications are not met. Vendors must adhere to comprehensive submission guidelines, including providing triplicate invoices with specific detailed information such as purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.
While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears open to qualified vendors who can meet DART's rigorous specifications. The contract terms include standard equal opportunity employment provisions and non-discrimination requirements. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, with invoices processed 30 days from receipt of invoice or order. The purchase order terms and conditions document suggests a comprehensive legal framework that includes warranties, inspection procedures, and potential contract termination scenarios. Though a specific award value is not specified, the procurement appears focused on precise technical specifications for transducer voltage equipment. Vendors must demonstrate capability to provide high-quality, specification-compliant goods and be prepared to offer the most favorable commercial warranties available. The opportunity requires vendors to be thoroughly familiar with DART's operational expectations and capable of meeting stringent technical and procedural requirements.
